Data Visualization: Crafting Powerful, Evidence-Based Demonstratives

Course Overview:

Media evidence now comes from an unprecedented variety of sources – surveillance systems, pole cameras, body worn cameras, in-car video, audio communications, drone and aerial footage, cell phone data, social media posts as well as various types of geolocation data. There may be times when one incident contains almost every one of those sources of evidence.

This intensive workshop guides legal professionals and forensic specialists through the complete process of building a powerful evidence-based, geospatial demonstrative video using Premiere Pro as the primary tool, supported by additional Creative Cloud applications and other advanced software tools.

Students will work with a single case study throughout the week, learning to transform complex evidence into clear, compelling visual narratives from start (project kick off) to finish (final output and delivery).
