The UK’s prestigious Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences (CSFS) has officially recognized ten LEVA courses for teaching throughout the United Kingdom.
LEVA received the welcome news from Dr. Anya Hunt, Chief Executive Officer of the CSFS (pictured to the left).
She proclaimed, “LEVA is internationally recognised as established in the area of forensic video, audio, imaging and CCTV training and development. The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences is keen to engage with them and look at ways of working together to deliver relevant robust courses for Practitioners in the UK. The LEVA courses could form the backbone of crucial training generated specifically for UK personnel.”
She added, “CSFS are committed to developing certificates of professional competence and integrated CPD programmes to support all those working across the CCTV community and are keen to not reinvent wheel. Your support and commitment to this initiative is much appreciated.”
This partnership was initiated and made possible through the connections and efforts of John Kennedy, LEVA's International Strategies Program Manager.
Alan Salmon, LEVA Board Chair, affirmed LEVA’s commitment to provide its training wherever it possibly can. He said, “The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences is a highly prominent organization. LEVA is extremely proud to help play a key role in providing such critical training to those in the United Kingdom and look forward to welcoming them into the LEVA community.”
