WHO CAN ATTEND?
Beginner to advanced forensic video technicians and analysts with priority to those who have successfully completed the LEVA Level 2 class. “Digital Multimedia Evidence Processing” and who are currently tasked with video clarification responsibilities.
NOTE: Each class is limited to ten students.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES: Students will gain experience articulating specific problems and their causes found in digital multimedia samples. Students will gain experience systematically correcting those clarification problems in a reliable and reproducible manner. Students will gain experience generating software-based technical reports of the work performed.
COST: US$99 per person. Student will receive sample media for class use, hands-on learning and instruction, an assessment of their work product, a certificate of successful completion and three hours credit toward LEVA certification renewal.
NOTE: The seat is not guaranteed until tuition is paid.

RISK FREE: Online training can be compromised by life issues and technical issues that are not experienced within a classroom. If a student is enrolled and has to leave the class for work reasons, family reasons or technical reasons, an email must be sent to LEVA Executive Director Jan Garvin within the first 30 minutes of class start time. Credit will be given to attend a future online LEVA training opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS: Submitted registrations must be approved by LEVA for attendance. Unless otherwise arranged with LEVA, tuition must be paid in full at least five business days prior to class start date. Students’ computers must have Windows operating environment to load and use Amped FIVE for the class. MAC users need a Windows boot. Also have administrative rights to install *software and multimedia files (prior to class) for class use. Students must have a webcam and associated microphone for class participation. Students must have a reliable internet connection to support the web session.
If possible, dual monitors are helpful to improve learning experience.
*Students not having a current license of Amped FIVE will be provided instructions to acquire a trial version.

Certificate: LEVA will issue a certificate to each student who completes the course.
REFUND POLICY: With the exception of war, government regulation, disaster, strikes or exigent circumstances, no refunds of tuition should be expected. However, in exigent circumstances, a refund may be applied minus a $25 service fee.
Graduates of any LEVA course receive a certificate indicating successful completion of the respective curriculum. That certificate should NOT be interpreted as a certification of any type. The disclaimer and student’s signature on the course application further indicate they fully understand they are not receiving any certification from this course and must refer to this training as LEVA’s on their resume, CV or any discoverable document.
