Two new courses focusing on DVR recovery are being added to the 2014 training schedule. These classes will be offered in March and November and will be held consecutively in the LEVA Lab.

DVR Recovery – Video Evidence Retrieval: March 24 – 26 ($695)
This training course is ideal for anyone who will be called upon to retrieve video evidence from crime scenes or other incidents. It provides attendees the basic knowledge and methodology necessary to evaluate the type of Digital Video Recording (DVR) system they are dealing with and the most appropriate recovery method. Workflow will be a critical part of this course and students will be given instruction and techniques to streamline the DVR recovery process. This course will be very interactive and “hands-on” with numerous DVRs from different manufacturers that will require varying data recovery methods.
DVR Recovery – Basic of Computer Forensics: March 27 – 28 ($495)
This course is designed to train attendees on the basics of computer forensics best practices and skills related to DVR recovery and processing. This will establish baseline computer forensic knowledge to help in DVR recovery and processing.
